Brushing removes plaque
Brush your teeth with a soft bristle brush and toothpaste at least twice a day (particularly before going to bed at night). Brushes should be discarded every three to four months or when the bristles are bent or frayed.
Flossing helps fight dental decay
Flossing is an important part of preventing dental decay and periodontal disease. Floss is low-cost, readily available, and simple to use. It’s a powerful weapon in the fight against tooth decay and gum disease. Dental floss comes in a variety of styles. If you have trouble using regular floss, floss holders are recommended. Consult your dentist or hygienist to determine the best floss for your specific dental needs.
